My interest in money matters started quite young, as I was always known for being stingy and hardly ever spending on anything. Coupled with an interest in accounting and numbers, I went on to pursue a finance degree, and it was after this that my journey truly began. I ended up squandering a lot of the hard-earned money from my first job on some impressively bad financial decisions, including investing in hyped stocks and crypto without speaking to a professional, failing to diversify my investments, and impulsively buying and selling stocks. Despite working as a financial advisor, I often found myself succumbing to the risks I warned my clients against.

After struggling financially (and mentally) with the burden of my investment failures for a couple of years, I finally got my feet back on the ground. I used my own financial knowledge, combined with advice from more experienced investors, to make more informed decisions and keep my money safe. I took calculated risks, refrained from putting all my eggs in one basket, and ended up enjoying the fruits of my labour. Now, I carefully follow the latest investment trends and finance news to provide to you my insights and analysis on various finance-related topics. I started Liquid 2K to share the stories of my failures and successes to like-minded individuals, and to help my readers make smart investment decisions.
